In Special Education we need a little bit more in order to allow our students to be able to access their environment.
Battery interrupters are a necessity in adapting any battery operated household electronic into a switch accessible item. These allow my students to activate music, lights, massage pads, and even fans. Velcro allows me to adapt 2 dimensional materials that I can use for years to come. Wipes allow me to do art and sensory materials without making a mess. A boom box will allow my students to use a switch to gain access to their favorite type of music.
Please help to make our classroom our own and accessible to the students.
