  • Future Famous Photographers

  • Look at this Picture I Took!

    Thank you so much for your generous donation. The cameras have brought so much happiness and excitement to our students. We put the kids small groups as a way to promote team work and collaboration with peers.

    The first project we did with the students was a "see and shoot" where they were able to take pictures of what ever they wanted and it was so exciting to see what they came up with. The pictures were so good that we decided to display them during open house. The kids couldn't wait to share their work with their parents.

    With the start of the new school year the students can't wait to use the cameras again!”

  • Can You Hear Me Now?

    Wow! Thank you for choosing our program to make your generous donation. These walkie talkies and speaker have helped tremendously. Being able to allow students to work through their enrichment programs without being interrupted by loud static with projected voices has been amazing. Our new walkies and headphones allow us to call for students who are leaving, need to go to other after school programs, and other activities without interrupting their enrichment time. The staff are able to communicate without the entire group hearing what may be personal information. The walkie also will be effective in the event of an emergency. The loud speaker is awesome so the staff do not have to yell while attempting to give instructions to a group of over 100 kids. Thank you all for making this possible.”

I am currently the Kids Learning After School Site Coordinator/teacher. We have a program for after school hours, where we extend after school learning. During our after school hours we have several rotations available for our students. Including, but not limited to computer, homework, and sports. Our program is dedicated to enrich our students learning and environment to help with student progress. Our after school educators focus on homework tutoring, reading, sports, physical activities, and computer help/access. Having a computer will allow us to print activities, display movement/dance on our projectors, help keep track of student attendance, print out reports and important papers for parents, and also help our after school educators keep records. Currently we have a computer that often does not work or hold a charge and we are limited to the functions/programs that do work. Having a new computer would allow our educators to spend more time with the students, print fun engaging activities, and create more opportunites for learning.
