Learning Math Concepts Using Collaboration

Thank you for your donation to our classroom project of a two sided dry erase easel, dry erase markers, and dry erase erasers. The easel has been used daily since it arrived in my classroom by my math students!

When the boxes first arrived, my students were so excited to open and see all the materials. They even helped me put the easel together (the box was huge). My students were amazed that people that didn't even know them were willing to donate money to our classroom for materials for them to use in math.

We use the materials on a daily basis in our classroom. Students work at either side of the easel during class to solve problems and then compare their answers and explanations. We use the easel in our Titan Time period (remediation and enrichment period) to help students who are struggling. The board is large enough for the students to solve their problems and then explain their process for solving. It's been a tremendous asset!
