Listen up: Headphones for focus: Headphones help my students to concentrate on their own personal task that they complete in the classroom. Headphones help the room stay quiet while students are actively working. Students can also use the headphones during writing tasks to block sound to help them focus if they want a quiet space. Headphones also give the students a sense of responsibility because they would have to look after the supplies and make sure they are keeping them organized and neat. Students who come up for lunch to finish work, can have their own space without any distractions.
