Technology in Speech Pathology

My students and I cannot thank you enough for all of your kindness! My students have benefited tremendously from your generosity! With your support, we are able to have our Speech teletherapy sessions without constant lagging. Because of the upgrade, the kids can also see me and I can see them much better. I am able to provide teletherapy both at my home, and in the school building. With my in-person/blended students, I am able to provide continuity of activities (stories, tasks), which is important for their progress. The Osmo provided me with the ability to use actual books and picture cards and display them during our Google Meet sessions with way more ease and clarity than when I attempted to hold them up to the camera.

Personally, I am able to complete my session notes in a much more time efficient manner!

The students were so excited to use an iPad for Speech sessions, as I typically do not use such technology with them. They find the iPad way more exciting and motivating than a laptop!
