  • Class Book Set, Please

    Funded Apr 8, 2025

I am always overwhelmed by the giving hearts of friends, community members, and friends I didn't even know I had. My students will be so glad to get rid of the torn-up books and be able to sit and read without worrying about losing part of the book. Thank you so much.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Tami

  • Summer Fun!

    Funded Apr 3, 2025

WOW—my project was funded so fast. Thank you so much for helping my kids get a fun surprise at the end of the year. I know they will love reading the next part of the series we started in 3rd Grade called 3rd Grade Angels, and now they will be able to read about being 4th-grade Rats. Thank you so much.”

  • Birthday Surprises!

    Funded May 7, 2024

Everyone loves to celebrate their birthday, especially when you turn 9 or 10. In my classroom, I love to help make my students feel extra special on their birthday, and one way to do that is to have a special little something on their desk as they enter the room in the morning on their birthday.

Through your help with purchasing the special goodies for their birthday cups, I have a cute contained package with several little things just for them on that day. You can tell by the pictures that my first two birthdays of the school year brought smiles to their faces. I appreciate your kindness in helping bring joy to my students on their birthday.”

  • Fourth Grade Rats Gift!

    Funded Apr 15, 2024

I love the book 3rd Grade Angels and I read it every year to my class. However, at the end of the year, I like to give the students a gift that they can read over the summer. There is no better gift than 4th Grade Rats!

When I pulled out the book at the end of last year and presented them with it, they were all excited to read it to see what happens in 4th grade.

As school started up again this year I asked them if they read the book and most had. But, they decided they wanted to be a 3rd Grade Angel again and not a Rat. I can't say I don't blame them.

It has been fun talking with last year's class about the book. Thank you for supplying me with the books to give at the end of the year.”

  • Sweet Rewards!

    Funded Jun 3, 2024

Sweet rewards are always a big hit and motivator! Thank you for the donations to help my school year start with a supply of incentives and teaching tools.

I use the cheese-it to help teach area and perimeter. I use the M&M's and Skittles to help teach fractions. It seems like any new lesson is received better with food.

I Use the Jolly Ranchers as an incentive to have a "Jolly Good Time" If my class is recognized with amazing behavior outside of our classroom and receives our school's Eagle Excellence Feather, then I give them a Jolly Rancher. It is amazing how much they work for a simple Jolly Rancher.

All of these incentives will be used for particular purposes and I appreciate that I have them ready to go thanks to you.”

  • Sweet Learning!

    Funded Aug 2, 2023

Sweet Learning is a great success for this year. Thanks to your generous donations I was able to get not only candy awards, but also needed food items to use in our Social Studies learning.

When my students go above and beyond on their math comprehension checks and get 100%, they get into the "Gold Nugget Club!" This means that they get a gold Rolo, or Recess! When they pass a level on Xtra Math, they earn a Tootsie Pop! When they earn an "Eagle Feather" for outstanding behavior, the get a "Jolly Good Time!" with Jolly Ranchers.

I was able to use various food supplies to teach different regions on MO! This was great fun.

Right now we are doing bubble gum Math for multiplication. At the end of the process of testing the kids earn a banana split with all the fixing's. The ice cream sundae boats will be used for that. As you can see my kids have been working hard for rewards, and thanks to you I was able to give them fun rewards they want.”

  • Going to the Moon - Class Book Set

    Funded Mar 30, 2023

Summer school was a BLAST! Thanks to your donations I was able to supply all 3rd graders with their own book "Going to the Moon." The book was just right for us to do a chapter every 2 days and along with it do investigations on space and the moon. The book was about kids their age dreaming of going to the moon. It was a fun book to read to spark discussion about facts on how we do make it to the moon. The kids couldn't wait to see what was next on the adventure each morning as they came into Summer school. Thank you for helping me have a great book to base many activities off of to make fun learning activities.”

  • Learning Resources

    Funded May 9, 2023

We were thrilled to get our new items for the classroom! I was so relieved to get a new clock to teach my time unit. It was wonderful to have a clock where the hands hold on the time set.

The students got way more organized with the spiral-bound folders, this was a big relief for me because less work was being lost by the students.

The mini dry erase boards were so much fun to play games with as well as large group activities in phonics and math. The kids thought they were so cute, they would ask to use them, therefore they loved to learn just by having a fun way to do it.

Thank you so much for your donations to help with my classroom supplies.”

  • Fourth Grade Rats Gifts

    Funded Mar 30, 2023

Thank you so much for your donations for the books 4th Grade Rats. Every year I love to read 3rd Grade Angels and the kids always beg me to read the next one. I don't ever do that so that I can gift the students with the book as a surprise at the end of the 3rd-grade year. This gives every student a good book to read during the summer. Without your donation, I could not have given them this gift. Since I gave the students the book at he end of the school year, I have not heard how much they liked it. I can only assume they loved it just like the 3rd Grade Angels! I appreciate you helping me surprise the students.”

  • King/Queen Chair

    Funded Apr 14, 2023

In my 3rd Grade classroom, I love to recognize my students for showing Eagle Excellence. At Jasper we have a belief school wide that we are to be Respectful, be Responsible, and be Safe. If I see children showing those qualities, they get chosen to be the "Special Student of the Week!" One fun way they get to celebrate that honor is to set in a special seat all week, not their regular hard chair. You helped supply a comfy chair for them to use as the "King or Queen Chair" They were supper excited to hear who was selected as the first one to get to sit in it. The faces were all smiles! Thank you for making my class be a fun place to learn.”

A desk where students sit does not work for everyone. Some students work best on the carpet, on an alternative seat, and others work best standing up! However, we don't have any standing desks and this will give us an opportunity to have one standing desk to help those students that need it throughout the day. A standing desk will help those learners who love to stand work best! When a student is in their ideal working situation they can do their best thinking, processing and then produce a high-quality piece of work. I can't wait to have this standing desk for all kinds of activities, especially including group work, at the standing desk! In the past, we've had students that want to stand while working and they end up standing but leaning over the low height of a sit-down desk. A standing desk will be an ideal place to learn for students that prefer to stand -- and their work will be at the appropriate height!
