Economics is part of the curriculum in middle school, but we feel that financial literacy needs to be introduced before students begin their first part time job. This class has become a very popular elective at our school and we do not have a textbook. These books, written with children in mind, will act as our textbook. Finance 101 introduces the concepts and Finance 102 provides lessons that activities can be developed from. Investing for kids is the reference needed to participate in the Stock Market Experience online activity that students engage in to learn about investing opportunities.
