The donations to this project will be used to support learning basic concepts and vocabulary that most typically developed people take advantage of knowing. For example, the CVC cards and Alphabet Sound Tub to help students produce sounds in words and sentences, since several of my students have speech articulation delays. The Building Language Photo cards and Colors and Shapes Bingo game will support hands on learning and visuals for students that require information provided beyond auditory input. My project is focused on increasing the understanding and expression of days of the week, months of the year, seasons and other themes related to functional living. The items I selected will make a difference in students' learning in home and at school.
