A Colorful New Year!
Funded Aug 5, 2019Thank you so much for your generous donation to my classroom. My project "A Colorful New Year" has started off very successfully. My students were/are very excited and appreciative of the materials you all have provided for them.
Your donation has provided equity in the classroom. Some of my students did not or were not able to get all of the supplies needed for the school year. Now all of my student are on equal footing starting the year off. When my students saw all of the materials, they were so excited and ready to use the colored markers, water color paints, colored pencils, and crayons. We have used some of the materials for our Painted Essay lesson and various other things.
The materials will be used for other projects in the future. Just having the supplies needed to carry on our daily activities has brought the biggest smiles to the faces of my students. God Bless you for caring and contributing to the education of our youth.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Watts

Funded Jan 14, 2019First of all, I would like to thank each and every one of you for funding my classroom project, "Raising Achievement Through The Printed Word." It is through your generosity that we were able to receive the materials needed to fulfill our project.
In my fifth grade curriculum, we were studying the rain forest. My students were required to write an e-book. I liked the idea but I really wanted my students to have a book that they have written and would be able to hold. I believe that physical books are important in a world with so much technology around. My students were ecstatic to write and print their own books.
When the printer arrived, my students were very eager to see and use it. Due to your donations, they were able to create their books and see the fruit of their labor. Thank you for your support of teachers and the education that we are providing for our future leaders.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Watts
