A silent disco is an event where people dance to music listened to on wireless headphones. Rather than using a speaker system, music is broadcast via a radio transmitter with the signal being picked up by wireless headphone receivers worn by the participants. Individuals with autism spectrum disorders and those with sensory sensitivities will be able to take part in the dance/silent disco using the wireless Bluetooth headphones Rather than playing loud music through speakers, these wireless Bluetooth headphones allow those attending to opt in or out of the soundtrack and control their own volumes Our students are enthusiastic about technology, music, dancing and enjoy finding new ways to connect with one another outside of the classroom and accessing these headphones will allow for this to happen more regularly.
