Kindergarten Scholars need Basic Supplies
Funded Jan 22, 2023It is with great gratitude and appreciation that I submit this impact letter to you for your kindness and willingness to give towards "Kindergarten Scholars Need Basic Supplies". With these awesome supplies I was able to set up both an Academic Center and a Play Center area. In the Academic Center area, students were able to choose from the following areas: Math (Pattern Blocks, Unfix Cubes, Geoboards, Legos), Writing (Stickers, Stamps, Water Colors), Library (Reading, Puppets, Magnetic Letters and Words), Science(Labs), Sensory (Playdough, Sand), STEM Bins. In the Play Center area, students were able to choose from the following areas: kitchen, tree house, and blocks. This is just one of the many projects were were able to complete thanks to your donations.
Our scholars were most excited for our class donut projects. During book character week each Kindergarten class in our school chose one of the "If You Give A _______ A _______" book. Our class chose "If You Give A Dog A Donut". We used the supplies donated in this project to make donut headbands and donut costumes for each student to wear. Later on in the year, the students wanted to turn our kitchen area into a Donut Shop. We used the supplies donated to this project to set the Donut Shop up so that students could have a real world experience. They were able to make their own donuts using magic clay. They made donut boxes, donut hats, employee name tags and menus. This became the most popular play center in our classroom.
Thank you for your kind and generous donations! We are very appreciative!”

Teachers Know What Teachers Need: (TPT) Math Room Transformations
Funded Sep 20, 2022It is with great gratitude and appreciation that I submit this impact letter to you for your kindness and willingness to give towards "Teachers Know What Teachers Need: (TPT) Math Room Transformations". These fun challenges have helped make math memorable and meaningful as my students learned to relate math to the real world! With these interactive math classroom transformations, they have gained a better understanding of kindergarten math concepts. It has been a positive influence for them to have access to real world math skills to help them math the connection to math in the everyday world.
They were most excited to see the different weekly classroom math transformation. Their faces lit up each Friday as they walked into "Fun Friday's". They begged to do them more often. This has helped them develop their love for math and give a wonderful foundation of number sense in the real world setting
Thank you for your kind and generous donations! We are very appreciative!”

Mrs. Jackson
