Empower 600 Students with Functional Technology!
Funded Feb 27, 2025I am overwhelmed with gratitude as I write this note to thank you for your generous support of our DonorsChoose project. Because of you, our computer lab is now stocked with essential tools—new computer mice, Lysol wipes, and screen wipes—that are already making a huge difference for our students.
Over 600 students rely on our lab to develop critical digital skills, from coding to research and creative projects. Thanks to your generosity, they no longer have to struggle with broken or unresponsive equipment. Instead, they can fully immerse themselves in learning, problem-solving, and exploring technology with ease.
Additionally, your support for cleaning supplies ensures that our shared devices remain sanitized and ready for every student who enters the lab. In a space that sees hundreds of young learners each day, this makes a significant impact on maintaining a healthy and welcoming environment.
Your kindness has not only provided essential resources but has also shown our students that there are people who believe in their potential and want to see them succeed. Thank you for investing in their education and in their future.”

Mrs. Richardson

Funded Nov 19, 2024Having Teachers Pay Teachers (TpT) gift cards has had a profoundly positive impact on my classroom, especially in my role as the technology teacher for all students in my K-8 school, which serves over 600 learners. This year, I have the privilege of introducing students to essential technology skills, including computer basics, coding, and financial literacy—critical knowledge for today's digital world. As the sole technology instructor, I feel both honored and responsible for ensuring my students gain the skills they need to thrive in an increasingly tech-driven society.
Without a formal curriculum in place, TpT gift cards have become a vital resource in helping me purchase high-quality instructional materials created by experienced educators. These expert-developed resources have provided me with the tools I need to confidently deliver lessons that are both engaging and age-appropriate for the wide range of learners I serve. From coding tutorials and digital citizenship activities to financial literacy lessons for older students, these materials have allowed me to create a comprehensive technology program that meets the diverse needs of my students. Accessing these resources has not only enriched my teaching but has also empowered my students to explore technology with curiosity and confidence.
I've had the privilege of knowing many of my students for years, and I'm deeply committed to providing them with the best educational experiences possible. TpT gift cards have helped me do just that by making it possible to bring expert knowledge into my classroom. My students have been genuinely excited and engaged as they explore new tech skills, and I know they will continue to benefit from these resources for years to come. Your support has made a meaningful difference, and I'm truly grateful for the positive impact it has had on both my teaching and my students' learning journeys.”

Funded Jul 4, 2024Thank you so much for donating towards this project. All of these items are being used to help my students in so many ways. I use the chart paper and markers to create anchor charts that have now filled my room. Students of all ages use these as a visual reminder of things we are learning. Students have even created anchor charts in groups to demonstrate their learning.
My room is walled with cinderblocks so using the double side tape helps to keep things up without damaging the walls. Additionally, I am able to use the magnets to hold important visuals that can be changed out depending on the need on my whiteboard.
With having over 600 students, you can imagine how quickly I go through supplies, and this is why I am so extremely grateful for this donation. It has made such a big impact.”

Funded Feb 11, 2024Thank you so much for your generous donation towards these incentives. Creating an engaging and rewarding environment around reading is extremely important to me and my teacher partner. We created a school wide read-a-thon and tracked the progress as children read stories. These incentives was a fantastic motivator for students! Their faces when they received prizes was simply priceless. I see students using the cute Dr. Suess erasers and pencils all the time!
We are in the process of rolling out another read-a-thon because the first one was such a huge success and we are using the scented bookmarks as the prize. As teachers, we spend so much of our own money for the students and having this project funded meant we were able to focus on other things instead of the purchasing. Thank you for giving us that peace of mind and for bringing so much joy to the students.”

Funded Dec 7, 2023Thank you so much for contributing towards making this request possible. I teach technology to students from grades K-8 and I have to say, they really enjoy it. They love learning about simple things such as clicking and dragging to create patterns all the way to coding with java script and python.
Right now, my 5th graders are working on creating pixel art projects using google sheets. They are so excited but what they are really excited for is seeing their work on the hallway bulletin board. With your help, I now have ink which allows me to easily print to display! I am attaching pictures of some students working on the pixel art. Can you imagine how amazing it will look once printed?
My 8th graders became Entrepreneurs over the last month. They came up with a unique business idea and created a business logo and a flyer. I was able to print their flyers and now it's on display labeled "Our Fly Flyers" They were so happy to have their work on display.
Thank you so much for this donation. This means so much to me and even more to my students.”

Funded Sep 15, 2023Thank you so much for giving towards this project. I am a technology teacher and I see over 600 students every week. That means a lot of dirty fingers!
It's important to keep the keyboards, screens and mouse clean and these cleaners help just to do that. Cleaning and wiping the computers with these wipes makes it so much easier to get rid of germs and it makes me feel better knowing that I am helping to prevent the spread of germs especially during these winter months.
Thank you again so much!
Ps: My daughter LOVES watching Young Sheldon!”

Funded May 16, 2023Thank you so much for your donation towards supplying tissues in my classroom. I cannot begin to express how badly needed my classroom needed tissues. I usually run out of tissues very quickly because I see over 600 students. When I run out of tissues, my kiddies have to use hard brown tissue paper which is not the best especially when they are sick. It's so difficult to keep tissues in stock BUT because of your donation, that is not something my students or myself have to worry about anymore. It's so fantastic to be able to say "Sure, go grab a tissue" when they ask! Thank you for making something as simple as access to tissues possible.”

Funded Jul 5, 2023Thank you so much for your donation towards making sure my students and I have access to these invaluable supplies. Every day my students come in, they look directly at the dry erase board for instructions to get started. I am also able to put magnetic things on there which makes it easy for students to find things such as the bathroom pass. My Kinders and 1st graders appreciated having enough scissors and glue sticks to complete classwork. ( Usually they have to share which makes them very impatient!)
Your donations has helped make my classroom so much more organized which not only helps me, but my students because they have more routines to be independent.
We are so grateful for what you have made possible. Thank you!”

Funded Jan 26, 2023Thank you so much for making a huge impact and improvement in my technology classroom. The effects of what you have done is felt every day among every child. Some of my classes have upwards of 34 students which make it very difficult for me to print hard copies of any of their work. The printer I was given had no ink and after purchasing so many things for the classroom and the students, ink was going to break the bank. At the same time, every time I couldn't print a project for a child who wanted to showcase it for their parents made me sad. Due to your donation, I can now print their work for them to take home and every month, I can display work for the whole school to see (which they LOVE) Thank you so much!”
