I am requesting five Chromebooks that will be used through all of my classes, which reach over 430 students through the school year. During small group instruction, students can utilize their Chromebooks to support their learning in reading, writing, publication, technology, photography, marketing, and editing. Due to not all students having access to reliable technology and internet access at home, it is my duty to provide them opportunity to utilize tech in the classroom and support their learning. Having Chromebooks available will help support my students' curiosity, inquiry, self-management, and literacy skills. With these Chromebooks, my students will be able to gain skills they need for the next stage of their lives, be it career or post-secondary school. The best way to create a capable workforce of tomorrow is to give them real-world work and skills today. My students already have astonishing interest in developing skills for their chosen path and this project will allow them to attain success.
