With virtual learning happening all across the world with an unclear ending, I want to provide my students with a virtual experience free from a lagging wifi connection that can create downtime that will result in a loss of engagement and a loss of instructional time ultimately taking away from my students' learning. Have you been online and the speaker or participant started sounding like they were in slow motion? It was distracting. It slowed the meeting down. It caused users to become unease. Now imagine a classroom with middle school students waiting for a teacher's internet connection to stabilize? With this laptop, my students won't have to wait on the wifi in my area for any interference whether it be weather or a funny acting router. In addition, the students have been blessed by Baltimore City Public School System, BCPSS, to receive mobile hotspots so their internet will be ready. Transparently speaking, I don't have the internet at home because I've never needed it. Again, I need to make sure I'm ready for them. Thank you so much for simply reading about my project. I hope you can contribute or you know someone that can contribute to helping me provide my students with the best virtual experience making this a great year regardless of any obstacles.
