Updated Technology for Virtual Learning
Funded Sep 20, 2020I cannot thank you enough for your generosity. These will have such a strong impact on the quality of virtual classes and meetings. No more outdated computer! I cannot wait to get these in and start seeing the difference these make - especially the touch screen capability! It will make writing on a virtual whiteboard so much easier!”

Funded Sep 7, 2019Thank you so much for you generous donation to my classroom. Since the beginning of the year all the teachers and administrators have been complementing me on how organized and nice my binders are, and it wouldn't be possible without your help.
In Newark Public Schools there is a huge push this year for all students to have binders and a collection of their work in one place. Having a binder for each student (that is color coded by class!!) has made it super easy for students to stay organized.
Thank you again for your kindness and support, it is truly appreciated.”

Pencils & AP Calculus for ALL
Funded Feb 6, 2020Thank you so much for your generosity. I can't tell you the amount of times a day a student asks me for a pencil and then never returns it. What I am most excited about though is the AP Calculus practice books! I hope to eventually give one to every student because I know how great of a resource these books will be when students are studying for the AP test. Thank you again! ”

School Supplies for ALL
Funded May 6, 2019I cannot thank you enough for your generous donation. Mechanical pencils in my classroom are like GOLD. I started giving out cool school supplies, like mechanical pencils and fun pens when students get an A on a test or quiz. Since then, I have noticed that my students became much more competitive and try a lot harder because they want the fun school supplies with their test. These supplies are going right into my surprise bucket. Thank you!!! :)”

Funded Apr 30, 2019I can't thank you enough for your generosity. My students are hard workers who deserve to walk into a conducive learning environment. These tools will allow me to create beautiful bulletin boards of all their hard work, vocabulary words, and so much more. I am beyond excited to share photos of my classroom with you!”

Pencils & Paper for EVERYONE!
Funded Apr 24, 2019I can not thank you enough for your generosity. Pencils and papers can start to get really expensive when providing for 140 students. These should hopefully last me until the end of the year and start me off next school year. Your kindness is truly appreciated. Thank you so much!”

Chromebooks That Work?! Oh My!
Funded Sep 22, 2018With the computers I had in the past, half of my instructional time was compromised because they took a really long time to turn on and load the desktop. Due to this frustration, often times I would choose not to even use technology even if I had a great lesson that would go with technology because I knew that I would lose so much time waiting for them to turn on.
Since I got these chrome books I am able to use technology in my classroom much more efficiently. None of this would have been possible without you and your generosity. From the bottom of my heart, thank you! My students and I are extremely grateful for your donation. ”

Funded Oct 2, 2018I have never seen my students so excited to use calculators in my class until we were fortunate enough to get these wonderful tools. With your help, we were able to create a sense of excitement in math class. My students use these calculators on a daily basis. Whether it be for basic calculations or graphing. The best part about these calculators is that they don't need any batteries! In the past I was buying batteries every month to replace the old calculators that we had, now I can just charge them, which is what excites me the most!
When we did function transformations, my students were so excited to see the functions pop up in colors, and different colors at that! It made being able to identify individual functions much easier because they were color coded. These calculators have allowed me students to do discovery lessons that would have been impossible without them. In previous years when I tried to do function transformations with a black and white calculator I noticed that my students who had learning disabilities had a really hard time differentiating the different functions, now it's clear because they are color coded!
Without your generosity, non of this would have been possible. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kind donation and I know my students are grateful as well. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!!!”
