Projects By Our Own Hands
Funded Dec 11, 2023My students have been very busy being attentive and creative using ALL of the wonderful supplies you donated. Most have completed their small plush animal figures while others are still working on more complex projects such as their zippered cosmetic bags or larger shaped pillows (hearts, stars etc.). Some students decided to make hand-sewn gifts for their family members such as pot holders or coasters.
I am personally very grateful for your generous donations. I was able to foster their creativity with tangible items that I would not have been able to afford alone. My students were also very thankful and said they did not know that people give things to strangers ...JUST BECAUSE. Out of all things, it means the world to me for them to know, first hand, acts of kindness.”

Basic Necessities For Future Scholars
Funded Dec 14, 2018This Project assisted students in having the basic tools they so needed to complete simple everyday assignments. They were able to keep their work organized. All students were able to take ownership and control of their learning. Students were able to recycle the binders and allow other students, the next year utilize the supplies. They were able to complete in class projects with the glue and colored pencils. They were very grateful that a stranger (or strangers) were willing to give them the gifts of learning.”
With gratitude,
Ms. McDonald
