This rug will transform my classroom into a place where my students are more excited about learning. We currently don't have a rug for circle time and my students are sitting on a faded, old grey carpet. Having this wonderful rug will bring color into our room and make circle time much more exciting! Having a rug brings us together and helps build community within the classroom. I particularly love this rug because of the interactive games that you can use with it. Jumping from one shape to another, everyone in the purple row clap 3 times, if you're on something blue you may go line up, etc. Rugs are also a great way to build social skills. They might ask a friend to scoot over or ask to trade shapes with someone. There are so many uses for a classroom rug, especially in kindergarten!
