My students need resources to be the creative problem solvers of the future. The kits are not only educational, but beneficial in developing skills for college, career readiness, technology, science, and engineering practices. With the materials I've requested, students will experience the core STEM concepts of gravity and physics; the "Coaster Kit" will introduce fundamental principles of mathematics and physics to the students, while also providing them with a fun and interactive activity in creating their own unique roller coaster. Through trial and error, students learn how the track position affects the disk—as it rolls and falls from track to track and into the goal box. Design and Play kits let children create and customize real-working vehicles—for a fun-filled introduction to early STEAM concepts.
