Wow there aren’t enough words to express our gratitude! Your generosity and support means so much. My students were besides themselves with excitement to have resources in our classroom that present them with flexible seating choices that support them to do their best work! So much research proves that the smallest adjustments like flexible seating options or light choice in the classroom impacts students performance and comfortability to feel successful. I can’t wait to share how flexible seating has transformed the learners learning experience.”

This classroom project was brought to life by Staples and 2 other donors.

These diverse flexible seating materials such as yoga ball chairs, wobble chairs, balance balls, stools, and wobble cushions will increase student engagement, enhance learners focus, and motivate learners to do their best work by giving them the power to choose the way they are most comfortable to learn that meets their needs best. During independent work time they choose a location in the classroom that works best for them. Making sure learners are comfortable is a key component to motivating them. Giving learners opportunities of choice in their learning process, empowers learners to feel confident and responsible. It fosters a sense of pride and ownership of their learning.
