  • Fresh New Beginning in Math!

    Funded Aug 2, 2022

To receive the news that my project was funded, during my summer break, brings me much joy and relief. I know that with your help, my students will start the new school year off with the materials needed to succeed. Part of the success in school is to feel that you are prepared for your daily learning and this is what you have helped me accomplish for my students. Many thanks.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Rojas

This classroom project was brought to life by An Anonymous Funder and one other donor.
  • Starting Fresh With New Supplies

    Funded Jul 28, 2021

My students and I have been very grateful to the generosity of those donors that helped fund our project. The items purchased have helped the students keep their materials organized and readily available. Due to the unprecedented times that we are living in and educating our students in, they were in need of their own personal materials. Even though we teach collaboration, there has been a minimal sharing of materials. So, all the items we received through donors choose have been extremely helpful in keeping our classroom and students safe and healthy.

Having extra masks in the classroom has also helped when a student may have forgotten theirs or when their mask from home breaks. The pencil pouches have been used to keep all writing and drawing tools in one place. The cubby bins have been a great tool in keeping our independent reading center materials in a place where every student can access them for individual use. When a classroom is organized and the students know where they can find things they need to succeed, it creates a calm and structured environment for all.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Rojas

Last school year while learning remotely, school supplies was given to students to take home so that they could do their best work from home. Now it is time for us to replenish our classroom! Working in a low income city, I try to give my students everything that they need to learn so their families do not need to worry about providing school supplies to their child. The bins and bags will help us stay organized. Basic school supplies will help students in all subjects throughout the school day.
