We are ready to hit the ground running in the new school year! Students and teachers alike are excited to delve into the year, but that enthusiasm begins to disappear when classroom temperatures are hovering around 90 degrees. A study by the National Bureau of Economic Research found for that without air conditioning each 1 degree increase in excessive heat at school equated to missing 2 days of school regarding obstacles to learning. Air conditioning offsets damage done through cumulative heat exposure. Having a way to cool our room will allow students to focus, achieve more & increase attendance in my classroom.
