One of my main goals for my small speech corner is to keep myself and the kids who I serve safe. While I have a clear mask so that my students can see my face, they do not.
It is imperative that I am able to see my student's mouths when completing articulation therapy or evaluations. I tend to be with each student 15-30 minutes for therapy and approximately an hour for an evaluation. It's important for me to be able to show them exactly how to make the sound with the correct articulators as most of them struggle.
