Great Books for Great Kids

We finished our first book, The Most Beautiful Place in the World, today. This book is about a young boy named Juan growing up in Guatemala. My students were able to make a lot of personal connections to his life. The story started powerful conversations about the meaning of family and education.

The kids are eager and excited about starting our next book.
