A classroom rug will allow my students to feel safe and comfortable in their classroom environment. It will let them learn choices of where to sit for lessons and how to keep your hands to yourself. Making sure students are comfortable is an essential component in motivating them. I have noticed amazing differences in students when they are given a choice in their seating and are comfortable when sitting for lessons on the floor. Students are more engaged and are ready to learn when they feel comfortable and safe. The product that I have selected will show my students how lessons on the rug can be fun and exciting, while also teaching about personal space and behaving.
