These materials will make a significant difference in my students' learning. As low performing math students and English Language Learners, my students struggle to perform well in math. Through group work, the use of non-permanent surfaces, encouraging notes, manipulatives, and games I can make the high school math curriculum more attainable for them. We will use chart paper to work together, we will use the erase pockets to normalize mistakes, and the games to promote collaboration and make math fun. Most of these supplies allow for students to jot down their thinking or evaluate others' as well as open up thought-provoking discussions within our classroom.
