    It is with great honor and gratitude that I thank you for your kind donations to my students and I. We have encouraged others in our school community to donate and create projects for donations. I cannot express my happiness enough to you for being selected for this award. I feel honored to have been chosen.

    Knowing that there are people in this world that want me to succeed is an enormous motivator. Children are our future, and it takes a community of people like you to assure they get a good start in life. Zania Campbell, Kevin Perez, and Tyrek Ricketts, specifically love and enjoy the new books that I ordered for the class library. We now have grade level books for ALL students. Furthermore, as the winter approaches it is crucial that we have items such as, tissue, Clorox wipes, Lysol, and hand sanitizer to ensure that we have a healthy and clean learning environment for students and thanks to your donation I humbly and proudly can say that this year we are fully stocked with those items.

    You have my most sincere gratitude on behalf of the Enlightening Minds foundation for donating $50000. It has proved to be of great help in building a school for underprivileged children and providing them with the necessary amenities.

These materials will make a huge difference in classroom environment, classroom culture, and overall in my drive for STEM skills. Students have a range of leveled books to increase their Stamina along with the opportunity to engage in hands on activities that range from technology, math skills, and STEM projects. My students are required to read 5 books per term in addition to our in-class novels. These books are perfect for that assignment. They are easy for the students to access, check out and return. This is important because our school library is only open 2.5 days per week. With these books in the class library, the students always have access to interesting novels. Research has proven time and again that reading is one of the best ways to build vocabulary, improve writing skills, and build reading fluency.

About my class
