iPads will allow my students the opportunity to communicate understanding, increase academic success, and improve life skills. They will help my students connect to others and the world around them. Technology is a great tool to use to increase comprehension, practice math facts, and help aid in the retention of necessary skills. When paper and pencil activities leave them feeling inept, these tablets will offer my students another option to show what they truly know through easier access to the curriculum and communication apps. Students will be able to access reading and math programs easily through available apps. The requested iPads will also supply my students with the ability to bypass physical struggles by using the touch screen feature to complete lessons and allowing them to take the device to other learning sites beyond the classroom.
