• Visuals and More Visuals!

  Thank you so much for providing visuals to support our English as a Second Language learners. Our student population has a large amount of refugee students that come from Asia and Africa who need visual supports to enhance their education.

  With these supports, our students are able to make connections to what we are learning to their learning environment. They are also able to review concepts learned and use these visuals as resources to support their everyday academic goals.

• Financial Literacy Motivation!

Our students come from refugee camps and low economic backgrounds and really cherish these types of prizes to provide motivation and that extra push needed to meet academic goals. • Let's Get Physical!

  Our students have really enjoyed your wonderful donations. Because of your donation, our class has things like balls, jump ropes, and bean bags that we use to stay physically engaged. These materials help to keep our amazing students busy through bad weather and when they need additional activities to complete outside of the playground equipment.

  We also use the materials for instructional purposes. For example, we use jump ropes for counting and the bean bag toss for sharing ideas and information. We really want to thank you again for your generosity and kindness.”

• Classroom Headphones

  Funded Nov 27, 2022

  Thank you so much for your donation of the headphone for our class! The headphones have helped our students increase their math and reading skills by allowing students to clearly hear, interpret, and understand their online math and reading instruction. Students are now able to focus more on completing their reading and math lessons instead of focusing on clearly hearing the content in a otherwise active and vibrant classroom environment. Students are also able to increase citizenship by having classroom jobs that consist of headphone distribution and management, contributing to an increase in classroom morale.

  With your generous donation, my students are able to meet their online academic goals more successfully. Students are able to focus more on completing their online lessons and able to clearly hear and understand the learning concepts. Because of this donation, my students have had an increase in their overall reading and math scores.
