My students love to read. They don’t always have the vocabulary skills to support their love, so updating the library and adding a listening center will grant access to all my learners. My students have a wide range of interests and ability levels, a library should be stocked with materials that are engaging on all fronts. These items will allow students to select appropriate text and content. This project is 4 years in the making, I’m new to teaching, the requirement to have a library makes sense. The materials provided do not meet the minimum requirements of a library. This donation will help to develop a peaceful and restful reading place.
