Your support has made a tremendous impact on our students' learning experiences, especially as we delve into the fascinating world of indigenous art and its rich cultural significance. Your contributions inspire a vibrant learning environment in our art room, fostering creativity and appreciation for diverse artistic traditions. Thank you for empowering our students to connect with their heritage through art!”

This classroom project was brought to life by Donaldson Foundation and 2 other donors.Art Supplies Allow Us to Shine!
Funded Aug 15, 2023Thanks to your donations of black sharpie markers, bead making kit, pastels and so much more, over 500 students have benefited in making art projects. 2nd graders completed an intuitive line drawing learning about shape and different types of lines. They used the black sharpies to create lines and then color in with pastels. The bracelet making bead kit is out every free art Friday and the students are thrilled to make and take home a beautiful piece of artwork that they created. Students have learned how to blend oil pastels to enhance their art work and create new colors. They are surprised by how easy they are to work with and how much they add to brighten up the colors.
4th graders created skulls using the black sharpie marker and then squeegee painted on top of the drawing. The black sharpies are multipurpose for so many class and we use them daily. Thank you so much for your gift of donation and we are happily and using the items gifted to our classroom.”

Funded Nov 20, 2022My students are thrilled to receive their new items in the classroom. We use technology daily in our first grade classroom. Technology is helping my students supplement their independent work times after the whole class lesson. All of these wonderful new supplies have provided my students with new ways to practice their learning and skills in the classroom.
We are thrilled to have the donations go toward some engaging materials that have helped support student learning in our little classroom. The kids are excited for learning centers and to continue their work with the skills they are taught during the whole group lesson. Thanks to everyone that donated to our learning and growth. We are greatly appreciative.”

Letters, Sounds, Learning, Read All About It!
Funded Aug 9, 2022The tools we received in our classroom have been an incredible impact on our learning. Students have really enjoyed using the nuts and bolts counting tools to practice learning numbers. They use the crayon sorting cvc activity almost daily. I have shared the abc magnet puzzle with a few classrooms and students love using it as a game to play with other students in practicing their letter id. There is so much joy from these games and activities and I really appreciate having the opportunity to provide my students with so much variety for their learning. They have been really excited to try each new tool. We couldn't have made it possible without your donations.”

Funded Aug 29, 2021We are so happy to have our new rug. We use it multiple times in a day as a gathering space for our meetings and lessons.
My students were thrilled to have this new carpet and enjoy snuggling in on it for small group work times.
Students spread out on the rug with independent reading buckets and immerse themselves in reading books, reading on Raz kids and writing responses in their notebooks. They get so excited when they get to use the rug and their working spot.
We can't wait to do another project for our classroom when the time allows. Thank you so much for giving us the gift of a new carpet in our room.”
