  • A Comfy Corner for Reading!

    My students are loving our new beanbag chairs! They are constantly being utilized in our classroom. From independent reading time to independent work time with partners, these bean bags are the star of the show. When the students came in on the first day we opened the packages, their faces lit up! They could not believe that generous donors like you all took the time to donate to our room. These bean bags create such a higher level of student engagement every day, and the way the students' faces light up when they get picked to sit on the chairs is engagement in itself. We can't thank you enough!”

Who doesn't love a good comfy chair when they are reading? My students love working around the classroom during independent reading or work time. I would love a place where they can dive into a good book and relax while doing it! These bean bag chairs will help my students relax and create an adventure in their mind while reading their favorite book! Using a flexible seating approach helps students take charge of their own learning in a fun and comfortable way. D.E.A.R. (Drop Everything And Read) is some of my student's favorite time of day. For 20 minutes they forget about what is going on at home or school and immerse themselves into their favorite book.

About my class
