Already at the beginning of this year, I can tell that my students love to read. However, I am only in my second year of teaching, and the options that I have in my classroom library are very limited. I would like to be able to provide them with a wide variety of options quality books they can read during their silent reading time, during our daily guided reading rotations. For this particular project, I am looking to add several books to each guided reading level, so students have options of books they can choose to read during this time. It is a requirement in my classroom that all students have at least 2-3 books accessible to them to read during this time. However, due to the reading levels and needs of my students this year, I simply don't have the access to this literature in my own classroom library, for them to be able to have this available.
