  • Hurt Backs? No More With Our New Yoga Mats!

    The yoga mats have been a huge success! Before, our students were moving all around, falling all over each other during the yoga sessions. Now, they stay on their mats, pay attention, and are fully involved with the sessions! This has been a bigger hit than we thought it would be.

    Thank you so much for your donations. We have even seen an increase in more positive behaviors and they ask to do yoga each week!

  • Exercise Mats!

    The exercise mats have been amazing this year! It has helped us follow directions and has calmed us down throughout the day. Words cannot express our thanks to everyone who donated to help fund this project.

    Having a classroom of students with disabilities, being able to have a mat to sit on and exercise on instead of a hard floor has made such a big difference. Instead of refusing because it was not comfortable, we all now are able to have a regular yoga routine during the day. This allows everyone to have a break and relax after working hard.

My students need exercise and recess! Without the use of our playgrounds, they barely get to move around. These exercise/yoga mats will help them do yoga in our class. We have been doing yoga in class for a month but don't have mats for them to lay down and do some of the moves. Please donate so they can lay down and be comfortable doing these yoga moves and having a blast with their friends during this pandemic. Each student will have their own mat because we cannot share items.
