PBL Presentations Come to Life in Color with Student-Created Visuals.

I'm sorry that this thank you note is coming to you so late. The donations you contributed to my Donor's Choose Project last year were used to purchase a color printer for our classroom in the spring of 2020. The intention of purchasing the classroom printer was in the hopes of using it to produce student work for our Spring PBL on Endangered Animals. Students did get a chance to print their research reports and color images of their chosen animal.

Many of the students did not have experience using printing technology at school. After they completed their research projects, they typed them on Google Docs and were able to see them be printed out in class. This was very exciting for the students! It was my intention to have the students also use the color printer to create more images to display on the PBL Signature night. However, due to school closures, PBL had to be canceled, unfortunately.

Changing instruction over to Distance Learning this Fall has been challenging. The printer has allowed me to create color images to use during my instruction online as well. I really appreciate your contribution to my classroom and students!”
