Memories last a lifetime! For the past 7 years, I have allowed my students to create memory books so they can always remember the wonderful experiences we have shared as a class. At the end of every month, I allow my students to work on their memory books in which they must include at least 3 new concepts they've learned throughout the month. These memory books not only create a memory that will last a lifetime but it allows them to be accountable for their own learning as well as a helpful resource once we go into crunch time mode before their Statewide Assessments. This year I would like to make t-shirts along with memory books so they can hold on to these memories forever. With a Cricut Explore 2, students can create their own t-shirt designs using the program that comes with Cricut, cut them out, and display their work. As they say the best gifts in the world are not the ones we buy in-store, but the memories we make with the people we love. With a Cricut, students will be able to explore graphic design, new computer programs, and get creative all while having fun. Including different STEM projects. A Cricut Machine will allow us to make books and t-shirts to cherish for a lifetime. In having this Cricut machine they will be able to use the machine to design and create their own shirt and memory book. In giving my students the opportunity to design and create will make them proud of not only what they have created but also the memories cherished and new Florida standards introduced throughout the year. These creations they have designed will be remembered and shared for many years.
