In science it is hard for students to visualize what is being described. Without the use of models we have to depend on whatever is in our books or on the internet, which is not always correct. The projector will allow me to show them what the sky looked like before industrialization. They will be able to "look at the stars" in a classroom setting, during the day. The physical model of the solar system will show them the true scale of our sun and plants. The working model of the sun, moon and earth will show them physically how we get the phases of the moon and eclipses.
