While most of my students are issued laptops, some are not permitted to do so. These laptops will allow those students to complete work in class, turn in work, and begin to explore jobs and colleges. They will also allow my speech and debate kids to adequately prepare for contests by having a variety of research on hand. I will load our program, which will in turn download materials for my students to use. We discovered that the old computers I have to use do not have the power or space to download the hundreds of articles that my teams need for contests and preparations. The computers will allow each student to have the best chance when competing.
