I Feel the Need... the Need to Read!

I am beyond thankful for your contribution to my classroom for this year. Now more than ever, my students are able to engage in reading because they are reading texts that are relevant to them. They see themselves in the books they read.

Our classroom reading environment is very open and flexible. Students can read books at their own pace at the genre of their choice. If there's a book the reading that they don't love, they can move on to another one. The new books added to the classroom library are always a major draw and the books selected for this project have been met with praise.
