Last year I was able to borrow Technology acquired from the second school I teach at. However, this year I’m not at that school and the technology simply isn’t available at the Title I School I currently teach at the iPads that I have requested will give the students the opportunity to learn proper body mechanics, mistakes in choreography and dance steps. The iPads will also help assess team collaboration, participation, and cooperation. The adage, “video’s/picture’s are worth a thousand words,” could be seen as an additional supplemental support to my verbal instruction, and provide the students with a visual record to the students in a medium that is highly relevant, motivational, and engages students interest. Moreover, my students love the opportunity provided in watching and assessing themselves in their performances when Technology is available.
