  • Learning Can Be Fun!

    So far the kids love the recess equipment I ordered. They love using the jump rope and and the ball and catch game I purchased.

    I'm waiting for our tech to install the printer which will definitely come in handy with all the planning I do for the two grade-levels I teach. I often share with other teachers at school projects and lessons I have created if I feel they will benefit their classroom as well.

    I'm still waiting on the arrival of the white boards. They will definitely come in handy. The boards I have are in terrible condition.

  • Ms. Agrelot's Spectacular Second Graders!

    Thank you for the generous donation. So far, we have been using some of the items to stay safe and healthy including the anti-bacterial hand sanitizer and the alcohol wipes. I have to wipe down desks during the day since I also teach a morning tutoring group on Wednesdays and Fridays. My regular class also sanitizes throughout the day along with washing their hands in order to stay safe. So far, none of my students haven't gotten Covid. We have had some cases in our school building though as far as adults and students unfortunately.

    The other supplies have helped us with class projects. Recently, we used the Sharpies purchased to illustrate animals in the Rain forests.

Even though yes a lot of students have Ipads not all students have access to them at home and I feel they have to be familiar with them in order to keep up to date with today's technology. Kids learn easily through technology. Many programs and apps help kids master skills and concepts through the use of technology like the tablet. I purchased two minis over the summer but now would like help purchasing the covers. I have spent over $1,500 in materials this summer and would definitely appreciate any help possible. I would also like to purchase a butterfly kit to have my students experience the whole experience of the life cycle of the butterfly. Thank you so much to all types of donations.
