We Are in Need of Hard-Back Student Atlases!

I wanted to personally thank you for the gift of the beautiful hardback atlases. They have made a huge impact in our classroom.

Before we had these sturdy, colorful atlases, our class had to use some paperback atlases that were old and torn up. We weren't even sure we were looking at an entire country because some of the pages had fallen out! We have geography questions to answer every day, and we were never sure the answers were correct. Now, we are sure we are looking at up to date, entire countries and continents. The students are able to find their answers in the atlas and to be confident that the answers are correct.

I would also like to thank you for showing my students the act of community service, compassion and generosity. Not only have you provided the tangible gift of brand new atlases, but you also have shown my students the generous act of giving. Whether you are complete strangers to us or close friends, the students have been taught a valuable lesson that people are willing to help other people. I'm hoping this will have a lasting effect on them and they, too, become generous givers in the future.”
