My students have opportunities each day to read printed materials. I want to provide them with a way to listen to quality literature in a way that gives them access to current technology. I am aiming to have Kindle Fire tablets in my classroom which will be equipped with literature for the children to listen to as an additional way to enrich the reading and language arts curriculum. This will allow for students to engage with literature in a different modality. This will allow for individualized learning to afford all students the ability to listen to literature regardless of their academic level.
