Number Bonding with Rekenreks!
Funded Sep 28, 2017Thank you so much for your donations! The students are extremely enthusiastic about using their Rekenreks. They use them individually and with partners. They're learning to count on from 5 and 10. They're visualizing, and applying, the concept of regrouping.
Students are also enjoying the pogo jumpers. They're developing strong balancing skills and core muscles. We use them during P. E. Relay races and during free play. They can't wait to go outside to jump on the Pogo's.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!”

Engaging and Educational Learning!
Funded Oct 5, 2015Thank you immensely for your generous donations. If only you could see the excitement on the students' faces when the packages arrived. I had placed them all on the table. As each student walked in, the excitement just kept escalating. I wish you were all present to see it.
Few of the items are excellent tools for hand/eye coordination. These manipulatives are so important for building strength to help students grasp and use tools needed to be successful in writing skills. The manipulatives are also great to teach students to interact with each other and to use their imagination to build as a team. Whenever the students see the 'Dot Art' at a work station, they are motivated and excited to complete the lesson assigned.
All the items will be continually used throughout the school year!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Le Vantine
