Donation of earphones will immensely help my students remain focused and driven as they diligently work towards computer literacy. This year, our school is implementing "Daily 5", which focuses particularly on reading and writing on their Chromebooks. Students will use headphones when listening to stories with programs such as Epic, Benchmark Advanced, etc. Students with special needs can use the microphones to assist with writing by using "Speech-to-Text". Students will also be able to use the headphones on other programs when working on centers individually. Finally, students will be able to use these headphones for State Testing because headphones are required during the math and ELA sections of the test.
