  • Supplies for Spectacular Students!

    We can't thank you enough for all of the amazing supplies we were able to purchase thanks to your generous donation! We use these supplies daily during all of our lessons and activities. Thanks to this donation we now how a class set of scissors, white boards, erasers, colored pencils, and markers.

    We also use the chart paper we were able to purchase to make engaging visuals to post around the room to help with our everyday learning. My students understand how lucky we are to have all of these supplies and they work together as a class to keep them organized and in good condition!”

  • Printer for Student Work

    Thank you for the wonderful printer and ink for our classroom! We use this printer daily to print student work, visuals to help us learn, and assignments like word sorts and articles to read.

    Without the printer and ink I, as their teacher, would have to go to local print shops to prepare materials for my students and print out their work. Having these tools right in our classroom allows them to immediately see the work they have created and allows us to review the assignments in a timely matter.

    The printer and ink has truly made a difference in the way I teach everyday and the way my students learn!”

  • The Universal Language of Technology: Chromebooks for English Learners

    We cannot thank you enough for the Chromebooks that you donated to our classroom! The students are extremely engaged when completing their assignments and they love to learn new tricks on the computers each day.

    Since all of my students are English Learners these computers have impacted their learning in countless ways. They are able to easily translate assignments into their native languages to better understand what is expected of them.

    The students love to teach one another how to navigate the Chromebooks and show off their new technological knowledge to their peers and teachers. Thank you for this generous donation!”

Due to the demands of college and career readiness, technology plays a critical role in the education of our children. As an ESL teacher, Chromebooks will allow my English learners to practice typing, editing, collaborating, and creating digitally which are only a few of the vital skills that will be required of them. In addition to learning these skills, Chromebooks are essential for English learners as they allow these students to engage in a variety of literacy activities that improve their English while also providing support in their native languages. With five Chromebooks, my English learners will have access to technology daily which will allow them to engage in powerful listening, speaking, reading, and writing activities. These activities will facilitate my students' acquisition of English while also allowing for the opportunity to teach them how to be responsible digital citizens. In addition to practicing everyday literacy skills and creating collaborative projects digitally, the five Chromebooks will be used to prepare my English learners for the annual assessment of English proficiency that must be taken online. Without these computers, my students will not be prepared for what this mandated online assessment will require of them. These Chromebooks will impact my students in countless ways and are essential to their success as young learners. Any donations are greatly appreciated!!
