These items will continue to enhance the school's reading environment that I strive to create. Our school hallway areas are a place that our students really enjoy reading. We read to partners, they complete work there, and they read independently! Every student area is stocked with loved books and treated with love and care, and they are thankful for the opportunities to read. All of the seating options have been chosen with my students in mind-I have watched them the past few years of school read without just in our bare halls and I have also asked them what type of areas they would enjoy reading in. Students will be able to choose seating options and areas, which will help them continue to enjoy independent and cooperative reading time. Reading is an adventure to which there are no limits or guidelines! These soft, mobile pieces such as the bean bags, wobble cushions, and pillows, I have chosen will allow my readers to read just about anywhere in our school.
