Children love to use technology and my hope is to take that and turn it into a love of learning with the use of educational activities and sites to reinforce the ongoing learning in the physical classroom. This donation will allow my students to continue to develop their skills by using technology to increase communication, knowledge, fine motor skills, and sense of accomplishment and independence. Students will learn how to use the tablets to navigate through a series of educational sites and activities specific to their learning needs. The Fire HD tablets and headphones will make a difference in my classroom by offering my students the opportunity to develop independent learning skills while working on other skills that are specific to them. Being able to use technology that is up to date will enhance the learning environment and build confidence as they master the skills they need "learning through play" with educational activities and technology.
