This past school year, we started a running program at my elementary school where students run for the first 10 minutes of class. When each student completes a lap, they receive a Popsicle stick to symbolize each lap run. Initially, many of our students were unsure about running, but as time passed, they have embraced and learned to love it. Now, they are always excited to see how many laps they can run in each class and who will have the most laps by the end of the school year. Their enthusiasm has inspired us to purchase the EZ Scan Finder program. Not only does it keep track of their laps more efficiently and effectively, but it motivates them with fun phrases of encouragement every time they scan their QR card. Unfortunately, we are a unable to purchase the iPads that go along with the program due to lack of funds. Your donation will help increase productivity in the gym by providing us with two iPads with cases, allowing us to track laps much easier and give our students more time in the gym to participate in the activity of the day. At the end of the school year, we will be awarding a trophy to the top male and female runners in each grade level. This program will make it much easier for us to track who these students are.
