  • Charging Area for Students!

    Students used their charging cart everyday! They didn't have to worry about their learning devices not being ready for the school day! They were happy to see their cart.

    They learned how to take care of the cart and how to properly put up their learning devices.

    When they would arrive to school, they knew that their devices were ready for what the day brings.

    My students next step is to have charging carts for all of their classes so they can ensure that no matter which class they leave their laptop in, it will be ready for the next day!”

  • Book Bags for Everyone!

    The students were excited to receive their book bags. Once they were here I immediately passed them out. They put their names on it and started to personalize them with decorations and stickers.

    I made sure to let them know to use them for any book that they want to carry around whether it be from the Library or from my classroom. They are to use them when they are waiting in lines or have finished any extra work.

    This has helped my class stay on top of their reading. They now know where to look at when they don't have something to do or now have a safe place to have their books. I will continue to ensure they are taking their reading seriously and this was one way to do that.”

Students can also enjoy learning games like Kahoot right from their desk. I will use it to help monitor their growth in the classroom. Students that are learning while playing show some of the best growth in their areas. I believe that each of them having their own "personal" iPad will make them feel special. This can also give them responsibility for they will have to learn how to keep it charged and learn how to take care of such items.

About my class
