My colleagues and I are looking to create a flexible classroom for our 6th graders with special needs. We share a resource classroom throughout the school day, and are looking to create a classroom that is comfortable, but will allow for student engagement and motivation. By adding these giant pillows to our classroom, I know students will be eager to take part in their learning when they are able to choose where they sit. I began implementing flexible seating in my classes last year, and I noticed a major difference in my students in their learning. By allowing students to choose where they are able to sit when learning, I am hoping that by adding these pillows as an addition to our comfortable learning experience!
